The Business Acceleration Program is an initiative of the Northern Territory Government, hosted by the Darwin Innovation Hub and delivered by the Australian Centre for Business Growth. The program provides chief executive officers (CEOs) and managing directors with the knowledge and skills need to develop as leaders, accelerate company growth and compete in a global market place.
In its third year of operation, the Business Acceleration Program has conducted assessment clinics for 85 businesses, intensive growth modules for 26 businesses (16 businesses have completed the program) and growth ramp workshops for 12 businesses.
Graduates of the Business Acceleration Program reported strong growth in the 2019-20 financial year despite the impacts of COVID-19 reporting:
- 9% increase in revenue
- 61% increase in profit
- 8% jobs growth.
