Territory innovators and entrepreneurs now have access to a new Northern Territory Government program designed to help transform innovative ideas into commercial opportunities.

The Ignite program offers accessible, targeted support for founders and early-stage businesses to develop and commercialise new products, services and technologies.

The program aims to build a pipeline of investible Territory start-ups by supporting innovators at different stages of their business journey through expert advice, mentorship and pre-seed funding.

Ignite offers 2 streams of support tailored to different stages of innovation.

Stream A - planning

Stream A is designed for innovators with a new business idea, product or service who are at the beginning of their commercialisation journey.

Eligible participants will receive a $2,000 voucher and access to advisory and mentorship services to develop an innovation project plan.

Eligible participants may also be invited to participate in pitch and investor training and support programs.

Stream B - creating

Stream B supports innovators who have already developed an innovation project plan and are ready to progress their innovation towards commercialisation.

Eligible participants may receive funding of up to $15,000 to develop a minimum viable product and access to pitch training and support programs to help prepare for future investment and growth opportunities.
