The Territory’s innovation community came together in full force in October at the Activating Innovation in the Territory event, hosted by Innovation Territory as part of October Business Month.
With over 70 entrepreneurs, industry leaders, and innovators in attendance, the event was a celebration of the Territory’s thriving ecosystem and a powerful platform for fostering connections and sparking new ideas. Attendees had the opportunity to network with key organisations and individuals in the innovation ecosystem, including Innovation Bay, AusIndustry, The Array and the Darwin Innovation Hub.
The event featured sessions by founders and alumni of the Business Innovation Program (BIP), including Liandra Gaykamangu, Phoebe Bardsley, Nathan Groves, and George Fragopoulos, who shared their journeys of turning ideas into viable, investment-ready ventures. Additionally, an engaging panel discussion featuring Eleanor Salt from Innovation Bay, Dante St James from Darwin Innovation Hub and Dylan Bennett from The Array – dove into the Territory’s unique innovation landscape.
Martin Redhead, Director of Innovation Territory, commented
“the Territory’s innovation ecosystem is young and growing fast. By connecting industry leaders with emerging talent and providing a space for knowledge sharing, this event fuels a culture of innovation that benefits our local business community and the broader innovation ecosystem.”
The day was a testament to the Territory’s future-focused mindset, reinforcing Innovation Territory’s commitment to supporting a thriving network of innovators, entrepreneurs, and businesses ready to make an impact.
