Accelerate program relaunched to support Territory business growth

Territory business leaders now have access to a refreshed program designed to help them scale faster and strengthen their leadership.

The Accelerate program, delivered in partnership with the Australian Centre for Business Growth (AUCBG), builds on the success of the Business Acceleration Program (BAP), which since 2018 has helped hundreds of Territory businesses achieve sustainable growth.

The relaunched program focuses on opportunities aligned with Northern Territory Government priorities for export, workforce, defence and gas, supporting local businesses to expand into new markets and strengthen supply chains.

Minister for Trade, Business and Asian Relations Robyn Cahill said Accelerate continues to play a vital role in developing business capability across the Territory.

“Accelerate provides tailored support for CEOs and managing directors at all stages of their business journey — whether starting out or looking to expand operations,” Ms Cahill said.

“Small and medium-sized businesses represent 99.6% of the Territory’s business sector. This program helps grow private investment, fuel economic growth and build a stronger local workforce.”

What the program offers

Accelerate equips participants with practical tools, mentoring and strategies to grow their business rapidly and sustainably.

AUCBG Director Ryan Williams said the program is designed to help business owners build capability and confidence to seize new opportunities.

“The Territory has a vibrant business community, and we’re proud to help it thrive through our partnership with the Northern Territory Government,” Mr Williams said.
