Questacon - The National Science and Technology Centre is a hands-on, interactive science centre that allows visitors to touch, play and experiment with science. The Shell Questacon Science Circus sprung from this idea to takes the hands-on experience of Questacon to communities and schools across the country.
The Shell Questacon Science Circus toured the Northern Territory from 5 August to 2 September and performed in-school science shows to 9,696 students across the Territory as well as facilitating hands-on science and engineering workshops in 18 remote communities.
Additionally, the Science Circus had Pop-Up Science Centres in Darwin, Palmerston and Alice Springs with more than 5,000 people attending, including their biggest turnout of the year so far in Darwin.
