The NT Smart Energy Summit was held on Wednesday 10 April 2019 with over 100 stakeholders from the clean energy industry gathering at Mindil Beach Casino and Resort for the event.
The summit aims to bring like-minded people together to build from the momentum of the night before (Energy Club NT's event - Hydrogen - Is it the next big thing in energy production?) and enable attendees the opportunity to showcase their broad and unique contributions to the energy industry in the Northern Territory.
The summit featured a range of exhibitor and keynote speakers including:
- John Grimes, CEO Smart Energy Australia
- The Honorable Dale Wakefield, Minister for Renewables, Energy and Essential Services, and
- Dr Alan Finkel, Australia’s Chief Scientist
The theme of the 2019 summit was 'Solar - Boundless Possible' with solar power the focus of the summit but with a broad spectrum of smart and innovative energy solutions discussed and presented.
