A local business Angel Network was established in 2016 to develop local 'Angel Investor' groups in the NT. These groups typically provide $300,000 to $1 million in funding to bring ideas to commercial fruition; and work with local innovators to promote ideas to investor groups both nationally and internationally.

The first Angel Investors meeting was held in 9 October 2017.
