More than 100 people from small and medium business and the ICT sector have attended industry briefing sessions on the Digital Partnerships Program grants.
The briefings in Alice Springs and Darwin provided a detailed overview of the program, which aims to support the local ICT industry to build capacity and create jobs, foster partnerships between the Territory’s ICT sector and other local industries, and encourage the development of innovative digital solutions to meet local challenges and support economic growth; a key action within the Digital Territory Strategy.
The Digital Partnerships Program includes grants on a dollar-for-dollar basis to match funding provided by industry proponents for proposed projects done in partnership between local industry and Territory ICT or digital businesses, with grants awarded through a competitive selection process to support projects.
Stage one of the application process opens on 20 February 2019. Workshops to assist applicants with completing their submission will be held in Darwin on 20 and 26 February, and Alice Springs on 21 February.
