Innovation Zone

The Innovation Zone is an interactive two-day festival of innovation, entrepreneurship and STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) tailored to high school students in years 7 to 12, and will be held on 7 and 8 December 2021 at the Darwin Convention Centre.

The inaugural Innovation Zone will be delivered by the Young Change Agents in partnership with the Territory Government. The Zone is free to attend and includes two programs designed to target in school learning and after-school activities for teenagers.

Innovation Zone Youth Design Challenge (after-school sessions)

These sessions will run from 4pm to 6:30pm and have been created to help young people develop their entrepreneurial spirit through innovation and STEM.

Participants will be supported by experienced facilitators from the Young Change Agents and will have the chance to work with industry mentors to develop their idea. The students will also have the opportunity to pitch their idea and get feedback.
