Hydrogen tech leading Territory innovation into a new era

H2 cluster launch

The launch of the Northern Territory (NT) Hydrogen Technology Cluster on Tuesday 11 May marks a significant step forward in the Territory’s renewables push.

Key note speakers included industry heavyweights such as Mary Hackett, Jill Stajduhar, Emma Nesbit and Gavin Asikas who provided insights on the development and direction of the sector in the NT.

With the National Energy Resources Australia (NERA) announcing the formation of multiple Hydrogen Technology Clusters around Australia, this group is the Territory’s link to a concentrated network designed to drive and build local capacity in nationally coordinated approach.

The Northern Territory Hydrogen Technology Cluster will be managed by the Darwin Innovation Hub, in partnership with the NT Government, Charles Darwin University, NERA and the Energy Club, as well as partnering with domestic and international partners on the development of the hydrogen supply chain.
